Celebrating One Year of Inspiring Children to Read and Write!

Little Book Factory launched in September 2025 and over the past year we've been making books for children written by children as well as running creative writing courses that are truly fun and engaging.

"I can't believe it's been one whole year already! When I started Little Book Factory, it was based on my own daughter's question - "Can you make this story into a book?" And in short, I did - I worked with a bespoke printer and made her story into a gorgeous hardback book.  I could see the impact it had on her confidence and creativity and I wanted all children to benefit from that. Hence... Little Book Factory! Now ALL children can have their stories transformed into beautiful books that you can treasure forever!" 

Over the past year we have made hundreds of books for children written by children, not just in the UK but in the US too (what a wonderful surprise that was - to be shipping to California, Memphis, Texas and many more...!) and the journey has been full of other lovely little surprises too...

1. The Success of Our Creative Writing Courses

We designed creative writing courses to help kids dive deep into storytelling and discover the ins and outs of the publishing industry. The response blew us away—our workshops keep selling out!

Seeing the children fall in love with crafting their books and learning about publishing has been one of the biggest highlights of our year.

2. Storytelling is Truly a Family Affair

We expected kids to write for kids, but we were pleasantly surprised to discover just how much families embraced making books together.

We’ve had army dads write original stories for their children so their little ones could hold on to a bedtime tradition while they were deployed. We’ve also welcomed grandparents, aunts, and uncles who wanted to preserve family stories, pass down traditions, and make lasting keepsakes for the children in their lives. It has been an absolute honour to help keep those bedtime traditions alive.

When we started this journey, our goal was simple: to ignite children’s imaginations, unleash their storytelling superpowers, and turn their creative ideas into real, beautiful hardback books to cherish forever. Looking back over the past 12 months, we couldn’t be prouder or more grateful for how far we’ve come.
